Review Meeting#6

Last night the SCB got together once again for another exciting Subbuteo night,
this time only 3 players attended, unfortunately we actually forgot to bring the sponsors to be applied to the fields...ops!my bad...next time we'll make sure they are part of the bag we usually bring =)

Aaaaaanyways,
we played a mix of HW and Zeugo flat bases,
here are the scores along with statistics and some pics:

Gestern Abend hat sich der SCB erneut für einen spannenden Subbuteo-Abend zusammengefunden. Diesmal haben nur drei Spieler teilgenommen. Unglücklicherweise haben wir vergessen, die Bandenwerbung für die Spielplatten mitzubringen ... ups! Mein Fehler ... nächstes Mal stellen wir sicher, dass sie sich auch in der Tasche befinden, die immer mitkommt =)

Eeeegal ... wir spielten mit einem Mix aus Heavyweights und Zeugo Flachsockeln. Hier sind die Ergebnisse nebst Statistik und ein paar Bildern.

Preview Meeting#6

Next Thursday. March the 29th, come to Biesdorf for another exciting Subbuteo meeting!

Incidentally we will be presenting our new pitches finally completed with sponsors on the side....WHOOOHOOOO!!!

Anyway, show up with flat bases teams, but if you fancy some good old HW bring them on and we'll arrange a match.

Review Meeting #5

Again only three of us but in a different mix. An  all locals night with guys from Biesdorf and Kaulsdorf. Nevertheless it was good fun as always and probably a good opportunity for newcomer André to get familiar with the rules & skills of the game in a relaxed atmosphere. In two games he proudly fielded his newly bought Zeugo Teams, Bayern Munich and Germany.

In the opening game Bayern held Inter Milan for a goalless draw in an otherwise interesting match. The long ball into the shooting area was the preferred tactic by both teams albeit to no avail.

In the second match Liverpool faced Inter and the outstanding man was Internazionale’s goalie who produced some really good saves. Despite hammering half a dozen or so in the first half Liverpool was only winning one nil at halftime with Inter close to an equaliser in a very fast counter attack. At the end the “Goooooaaaaal” shout from the Subboard App was heard three more times and it finished four nil.

In the last game Germany faced PSV Eindhoven in a test match. André showed increasing grip of the game but had to succumb to Nico’s greater experience losing by three goals.

Rückblick

Wieder nur drei von uns, aber in einer anderen Zusammensetzung. Ein Abend mit ausschließlich lokalen Jungs aus Biesdorf und Kaulsdorf. Nichtsdestotrotz war es wie immer ein großer Spaß und vermutlich eine gute Gelegenheit für unseren Newcomer André, in relaxter Atmosphäre sich mit den Regeln und Kniffen des Spiels vertraut zu machen. In zwei Spielen ließ er stolz seine neuerworbenen Mannschaften auflaufen, Bayern München und Deutschland. Im Eröffnungsspiel trotzte Bayern Inter ein torloses Unentschieden ab in einem ansonsten ansehnlichen Spiel. Der lange Ball in die Schusszone war das beiderseits bevorzugte Mittel, allerdings ohne Erfolg.

Im zweiten Spiel standen sich Liverpool und Inter gegenüber und Internazionale‘s Torhüter, der ein paar wirklich gute Paraden ablieferte, war der herausragende Mann. Trotz einem gefühlten halben Dutzend guter Schüsse führte Liverpool zur Halbzeit nur mit eins zu null, mit Inter dem Ausgleich nahe durch einen schnell vorgetragenen Konter. Am Ende war der „Goooooaaaaal“ Ruf der Subboard App dann noch drei Mal zu hören und es endete vier null.

Zuletzt absolvierten Deutschland und der PSV Eindhoven ein Probespiel. André zeigte ein zunehmendes Verständnis des Spiels, musste sich aber Nico‘s größerer Erfahrung geschlagen geben und verlor mit drei Toren.

Meeting #3 Review

Hello Motherflickers!

Here it is a report from last night, February the 15th :

We had 2 new players in the likes of Ben Thomas from England and Andre Müller from Germany, thank you guys for joining us! And had 1 more table set up thanks to our main material provider Nico!
You might see a fourth one for next sessions.

A bunch of test matches with flat bases were played during the evening, no ranking involved, below the statistics and pics:

Hallo Schnipper,

hier ist ein Bericht von unserem letzten Treffen am 15. Februar.

Wir konnten mit Ben Thomas aus England und André Müller aus Deutschland zwei neue Spieler begrüßen; danke Jungs, dass Ihr Euch angeschlossen habt!

Und dank Nico, unserem vorrangigen Material-Lieferanten, haben wir eine weitere Platte aufgestellt. Beim nächsten Mal sehen wir vielleicht eine vierte.

Während des Abends wurden mit flachen Sockeln ein paar Testspiele ohne Platzierung absolviert; Statistiken und Bilder siehe unten.

Meeting#2 Review

Hello Motherflickers!
Meeting#2 is in the box. Last night we had the pleasure to host a guest, Bodo Reckzeh, that brought experience and skills as well as a suitcase full of bases =)

The LW night was a success as old style figures were flicked around in a 80's style manner.
Games were well played regardless of the final outcome and everybody enjoyed the chilled mood of the evening.
Here is the details of matches with pics and results at the bottom:

Nico Müller - Bodo Reckzeh 0-1

In his first match ever at the club Bodo Reckzeh found in Nico Müller a tough opponent, at the end he managed though to come on top with a diagonal shot that ended up in back of the net...knocking down a back post!

Fabrizio Pellaggi - Erik Klossowski  1-0

In their opening game Fabrizio Pellaggi and Erik Klossowski walked the pitch chasing their first victory, in the end Fabrizio took the lead with a well taken shot that gave him the final success.

In the SCB Italian Derby, Alberto won with a classic 2-0 over Fabrizio, that despite the defeat showed the same improvements that gave him the previous win. Keep up the good work Fabri!

Bodo Reckzeh - Erik Klossowski  6-0

Bodo didn't spare himself in this one! Six goals of distance between the two players, but considering that Erik is fairly new to the game,  he is doing pretty well. His first victory will have to wait a bit more.

Tough match for Alberto this time, in the end the defeat is not too bad considering Bodo's skills and experience.

In the SCB German Derby Nico got the win by only 1 goal. Well done lads!

What a highly contested match this was! Chances throughout the game, but in the end a tie score was the fair result of a very intense contest. No pics on this one...

In the final match of the evening Bodo got the win, but Fabrizio fought back with honor losing only by 2. Better luck next time.
