LW Amarcord Night

Dear flicking flickers!
We are proud to announce that next SC Berlin session on the first of February 2018 will be all about, quoting a Fellini's movie, Lightweight "Amarcord"!
That's right, a vintage night about the figures that made many of us as kids fall in love with this game in the early 80's.
So, if you decide to show up, please:

1. register to our FB Group
2. bring along a LW team...possibly club teams.

There will be plenty of fun as always, good company and silliness...but not too much, we are nerds but cool at the same time 😏, or at least we like to think so 😨.

Liebe schnippende Schnipper,

wir sind stolz ankündigen zu können, dass das nächste Treffen des SC Berlin am 1. Februar 2018 unter dem Motto Lightweight “Amacord” steht, um einen berühmten Fellini-Film zu zitieren!

Ein Abend also in Erinnerung an die Figuren, die viele von uns als Kinder in den frühen 80-igern in das Spiel haben verlieben lassen.

Wenn Ihr also mitmachen wollt, macht bitte Folgendes:

1. Registriere Dich in unserer FB Gruppe.

2. Bring eine Lightweight Mannschaft mit ... vorzugsweise ein Club-Team.

Es wird wieder - wie immer - eine Menge Spaß geben, gute Gesellschaft und Albernheiten ... aber nicht zu viel. Wir sind Nerds, aber cool zur gleichen Zeit 😏 oder zumindest denken wir das 😨

Day 1 in the box

It was a great evening, we had 4 players but many visitors from the structure that hosts us, included people from the Bezirk.
The first Inauguration Cup took place in a round robin group, with players playing the others 1 time,
at the end the trophy went to Nico Müller, co-founder of the club. It was a lot of fun, and overall the friendly atmosphere highlighted a very nice evening we are gonna repeat on February the 1st.

Every match was very intense regardless of the final score, here are the numbers:

Inauguration Day

Here we go, Inauguration Day!
This evening at 6pm the Subbuteo Club Berlin will begin its activities in Biesdorf.
To celebrate the event an Inauguration Cup will take place at the club, the intent is to host such competition every year the 17th of January.
It will be played with FISTF rules, but remember that our club is open to any sort of material, for future reference. We're here to have fun and relax, therefore we encourage you to wear your favourite football jersey, all teams are welcome ;).
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBSCRIBE TO OUR FACEBOOK GROUP IF YOU ARE JOINING THE EVENING, it is important for us to know how many people are coming. We have at moment 2 pitches but we are willing to extend our capability if needed.

Three....trwo....one....go!

After many years of research for partners and location, finally the Subbuteo Club Berlin starts its activities.
January the 17th will mark the first meeting of the club in Biesdorf at the Stadtteilzentrum in Alt-Biesdorf 15, Berlin.
For now we will meet every two weeks, but there are plans to meet more often also according to the number of attendants.
Our goal is to give a chance to players leaving in the east of Berlin to play the beautiful game of Subbuteo without having to travel for hours.
Which level are we going to reach? Where are we heading to? We don't know, for now we just wanna have good time and enjoy the company of people that share our own passion!
